Done Done Is Better Than Perfect. What it means to us (Facebook) You have to discover what works and what doesn’t and it’s really hard to do that through a limited perspective. The way we like to discover is to release and then iterate. There is always a constant pull to tweak, discuss, and argue what the perfect release will look like - and there’s room for some of that - but in the end it has to ship. It has to be done. And while we may aim for perfection, checking the “done” box allows for the next steps to occur most naturally.
